The new aluminum window AWS 90.SI+ mixes the vantages of aluminum with an innovative thermal insulation to achieve a sustainable architecture. The AWS 90.SI+ Schüco window satisfies the most demanding thermoinsulating needs, thus far guaranteed only by wooden and PVC windows. The excellent thermal insulation obtained with AWS module fulfills also the architectural needs for design and freedom on installations, with a depth of only 90 mm.

-
THERMAL TRANSMITTANCE
The thermal unit “U” is the parameter of heat dispersion; Uf specifies the thermal transmittance of the shutter-frame node while Ug specifies the glass thermal transmittance. The lower the value, the higher the thermal insulation. Following the italian norms, every window must have a minimal thermal transmittance value based on it’s geographical installation.
-
WATERTIGHTNESS AGAINST RAIN
To live in a clean, dry and mould-free environment it’s necessary for the window to avoid water seepage while closed. The watertightness against rain is the capability of a window, while closed, to prevent water seepage especially in a hard rain situation.
-
NOISE REDUCTION
Dalla Zanna’s windows, with their configuration, assure a noise reduction of 34 to 49 dB, averagely reducing the acoustic pollution by 60{d9b1d74fa4d8cb789de44d452a196899cd78a5125c0d868ff30c02c03113158a} more than a window built with a simple glass. The majority of the window’s acoustic performances are managed by the glass, which has a primary role in the Rw value’s defining.
-
RESISTANCE TO WIND LOAD
Dalla Zanna’s windows are tested under extreme circumstances in italian research labs. The stress the windows are submitted is far higher than what italian weather could possibly cause. The window submitted to a certain wind load should not show any damage or deformation in addition to be watertight against rain. Tests results show how Dalla Zanna’s windows are capable to withstand the worse of atmospheric conditions.
-
AIR PERMEABILITY
It’s important that every window isolates perfectly our home. This value represents how much air passes through a closed windows junctions when it’s submitted to a differential pressure. It’s measured in m3/h and could be referred to the openable surface or the perimeter of openable parts.
